Setting up Dect in multiple locations with one ip office

Hello Tek-tips,

I am trying to setup a Dect R4 in a remote site that is connected to our ip office 500v2 R8. The manual says it is permissible to setup another master if we are in Separated Locations, but it didn't go over how to configure it. In the IP office it only supports having one Dect line. Can anyone point me in the right direction for getting this setup?

There is only one master base station but you can set a slave base station as a sync master if it cannot find the other base stations over the air.
This way you can have a number of different locations each with its own syncmaster while only one location have the master basestation which is linked to the IPO and were all other basestations are setup as slave basestations..
