Hopefully this is the correct forum to post in, I searched the posts to find what I'm trying to do, and didn't quite find it, but I can't imagine I'm the only one trying to do this:
I set up Crystal Enterprise express which came free with my professional_10 version, and set it up but didn't realize that it can only handle 5 users at a time. So I went to buy more licenses, but BO says they're $750 per added user, which seems like a lot. And since my needs are simple, I set out to set up my own little site to display reports.
All I want to do is have a web page with the reports listed on one side and have them display in the DHTML viewer on the other side. Has anyone set up anything like this? Or are there any samples anywhere that show how to do this? I'm pretty good with ASP, so I was hoping to do it in that. The other stuff that CE_10 does, the rights and administration and things can be done in my own db, I can assign permisions that way, or ideally through my active directory server.
Any suggestions about how to go about this, or other suggestions are greatly appreciated, thanks so much!!
