setting up combo box/list box

I have been trying for a long time to add a combo box or a list box in paradox, I am currently using version 11. when I add the box, it removes the labeled name from the field. What do I need to do to fix this?

This happens in Paradox 9 as well.

I don't think you'd be 'fixing' anything.

What are you expecting?

Can you not simply add a text box next to it?
