Hi,

I have Windows 2003 (SBS - Premium)

Is there a way of setting up a group policy enforcing installation of SP3 and not allowing client PC's to be used until they meet company SP requirements?

Cheers,

1DMF.

Not that I'm aware of. You can use a GPO, or better yet, WSUS to push it out. WSUS would at least give you reporting on which machines have it.

But a machine has to be on the network to get it via the GPO or WSUS. You can't restrict it from network access if you're using the network to deploy it.

thanks for the reply, I guess it makes sense allowing it to connect but would like forced roll out.
