I have acquired a new account for a hotel that has a KX-TD 1232 and they would like to set up ARS for their guests.
The customer has given me two options to program: either program in a 1800 number or a 1010xxx number into ARS. The guests would dial 0 + area code + number from their rooms and then the call would go out on either the 1800 number or 1010xxx number depending on which one I program in and get to work.

I am new to Panasonic but trying to learn but I would rather not make a mistake with this account right off the start. My experience has been mostly with Norstars.

Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

why would they not pic the line for that provider?
so 0+xxx-xxx-xxx would dial out as 1010xxx0-xxx-xxx-xxxx?

Here is the instruction that was given to me. Sorry if my original posting was not clear.

As follows:

-----------------------------------------------------------

Clear View Programming Guidlines
(National Network, 1010xxx, Toll free & local number dial program)

Call Flow:

The customer dials 9+0 from the handset in the room. The PABX identifies the 9 + 0 and dials the Clear View Toll free or CIC access number. The switch then sends the 0 + area code + destination number to complete the call. See detailed instructions below for Toll Free and CIC programming.

ASR Programming: Use only one code either the 1010 or the Toll Free, just one.

Toll Free:

Load the toll free number into the ARS (1-866-xxx-xxxx. Utilize the letter P or commas after the toll free number to provide a 3-5 second pause and to allow for the 400 HTZ tone. The destination number should be sent (0 + area code + number) after the pause.

CIC:

Load the CIC into the ARS string (1010xxx). Insert the destination number thereafter (0 + area code + number). The PABX should send out the destination number in one string to the tandem.

-----------------------------------------------------------

Clear View is the company that has contracted to the hotel
for the low cost long distance.

Hope that clarifies my question.

seems like a big song a dance to build a ars table can't clear view not put there o+ long distance service right on the lines I am confused not that I am not willing to help
It just seem a little hokey that the provider can not simply
pic the lines.were are you located if I may ask?

Thanks for your reply. Just got back to my computer.
The customer is located in Canmore, Alberta just outside
Banff, west of Calgary. (Canada)

I don't know the reasoning behind this. Something that was negotiated between the hotel management and this company called Clear View Communications. They must have their reasons, I just didn't want to interfer being new to this account.

do you have a web page set up?
I set your 10x ars up in the office today it actually
pretty easy after looking thru my the docs!

CountyWideComm.Com

pull my ph number of my web page and call me today I can
walk you thru the 10x insertion or you can send me a backup
and I can write the ars stuff in for you and you can load an test it .what would be nice is if you had a 12 or 8 x in the shop!

okay, I'll do that. I'm in Calgary right now but I have to head west to Canmore & Banff this afternoon. I'll give you a call, maybe we can link up.
Thanks again for the assistance.

Modify digit for plan remove 0 add 1010xxx

routing plan 001 = 0***

1
Time A TRG 111(or what ever trunk groups you have)
mod 111
Time B TRG 111
Mod 111

a and b are identical just so clock keeps same
route but if for some reason they wanted to route
calls to another service you would do it in time b
and put a 1010xxx code in mod 2

now this is assuming that 0+ and 0 - are all going
to clear view

still feel free to give me a shout!!

I some temporary duty @ coldlake CFB many moons ago!!
