Setting Up An 8400B as a system ptinter port.

I Am trying to set up an 8400B data module for a system printer. I currently have S24 set as 247. It seems to connect but all it prints is jibberish. Any help would be appreciated

One of the tricks to setup the data module is the s24 register. This will allow the data mod to be used without a telephone. Use the ats24=1 to do this(this will solicite a ton of discussion here!). Set it for auto-answer (s0 REGISTER), it will only remember the last baud rate, parity, and stop bits you set it up with, so I recommend settign the data module to the specific settings you have for your printer.
