setting up adtech link simulator

Hi everyone,
I am trying to set up adtech link simulator in our test lab to simulate the link between our head office and branch office. The requirement is to use 256k. But, adtech equipment only use khz. Can anyone tell me if setting it 256khz will equate 256k. It's my first time using this hardware. Thanks all in advance...
