Setting up acs, syslog server for windows

I am trying to set up acs and syslog servers. I am currently awiating the PIX firewall. I need advice on setting it up, determining if I should put the acs, syslog on the same machine. I am currently thinking of putting the acs on win2k AD and syslog on another server. Please advise.
Also, step-by-step guides on configuring the same would be most helpful. Links would be perfect. I have a couple of links, but want to look at some more.

Also, I need to download the trial version of acs if available. I am regisered already but am still unable to download it.
