am i right with the below or is there anything missing

1 IVR_ACD_DN & acquire
2 Access Ports Config & acquire
3 IVR_ACD_DN = SDN as symposium voice services
4 Create an application using application builder under deffine voice enter in my messages and these reffer to the script variables

is the above correct please help as i need to urgently set this up for our call center

Thanks

Create the voice ports on the switch first. Open the Call Pilot Wizard and configure the ports on Call Pilot - Do not forget the class ID (channel number). Build the ports on CCM - do not forget the Channel Number (Class ID), set the Global Settings on CCM (defaulte IVR-ACDN, user ID and Password - 1111). Reboot CCM, reboot Call Pilot. Acquire the ports on CCM. Build the application on Call Pilot. Create voice segments in this application. Use voice prompt maintenance to call into Call Pilot and record a test voice segment. Build a voice segment script variable on CCM. Build a test script on CCM to run an OPEN VOICE SESSION on CCM. Use a test CDN in the master script to execute your test access scrtip. Call the test CDN. Watch the port monitor on Call Pilot and (hopefully) hear the voice segment play.

All documented in the Contact Center, Communication Server1000/Meridian 1 and Voice Processing Guide (297-2183-931). This is included in the documentation that comes with the system.

Thanks that would work using a SCCS however this is a CC6 server and therefore there is no Voice Prompt Editor

So what do i need to do with a CC6 server ??

Read through the documentation to the part where it addresses Call Pilot. Voice Prompt Editor is a function of whether you are using Meridian Mail or Call Pilot.

When you are using Call Pilot, you tell the CCMS in the server setup configuration utility and it deletes voice prompt editor. You will need Call Pilot Application Builder to create the Application and voice segments in Call Pilot.

Milesprower was referring to voice prompt maintenance in CallPilot and not to the Voice Prompt Editor in SCCS/CCM.

Voice Prompt Editor in the SCCS client only applies to Meridian Mail integration. (In the CCM 6.0, it is still there, only on the CCMS in Server Utilities.)

With CallPilot, the interface is in the CallPilot Applicatin Builder. This is try of both SCCS and CCM 6.0. In CallPilot, you will build an application -- let's call it VoicePrompts. Connect the Begin icon to the End icon. Go to the toolbar, and open Define - Voice Items. The interface that comes up is the standard CallPilot App Builder one for recording/importing voice segments. If you go to Properties - Security, you will find the place to set a password for Voice Item Maintenance.
