Hi

I support a web based product which is programmed in asp and sits on either SQL or Oracle.

We have a new server which we will use for testing and demo purposes

I now need to set up the product sites on here, details of set up below

Windows 2003 set up as an Application server
Database restored on SQL
asp files set up on the C drive

IIS virtual directory pointing to the web files on C

Can login fine as
I need to users to be able to login to the site and access it over the internet

How do I configure IIS to do this
The server has one network card I assume I need to configure IP addresses at some stage during set up ?
What is involved in setting up an SSL certificate ??

I'm really pretty stuck at present so all help appreciated

Thanks

For SSL:
You can use a self generated certificate, you will just get a trusted cirtificate warning when going to the web page.

You will also have to configure the IIS server to serve ASP pages.
IIS manager -> open Web Server Extention pages -> make sure Active Server Pages is set to Allow.
