setting up a system to print to a network printer

I have a S9 box that I need to print to an HP 8150 laser jet network printer.

Anyone have any instructions on how to do this.

I've tried lpadmin, which sticks an entry in your printers.conf.

To set my dwfault printer: If I try to use lp PRITER=10.10.10.10 it states it is an unknown printer.

To be honest, it has been a long time since i've connected a printer to a Solaris box, so I can't remember.

Hi. Take a look at Thread60-119849 for a few ideas.

I don't mind people who aren't what they seem. I just wish they'd make their mind up.
