Setting up a shortcut to a share on 2003 Server for mandatory profile

Hi there,

I am currently try to set up a shortcut on each of my users desktop to a share on the server. I would like this to be done automatically at logon and was wondering what was the best way to do this.

1) edit the logon scripts for the users?

2) Folder re-direction in group policy?

logon script is the best option

folder redirection points common folders (such as my documents) to an alternate location and will not achieve what you're looking for.
