Setting up a server in win32 console

Can someone help me out here? im totally stuck. i don't even know where to begin here.. its my first time..

i just need to open a port, handle incoming information, and accept requests

Which kind of server (http, ftp, sockets, com ...)?
There are some of samples for each typ on MSDN, You should easy take a nearest sample and change it.

A socket server, but i can't find anything for it in the MSDN.. i searched for winsock, servers, sockets, nothing returned anything useful...
