I have an existing website that is edited through Frontpage.I need to add a "Members Only" section to the site. Having read through my "FrontPage Bible" and the help section, I'm still scratching my head as to where to start.

As an attempt, a folder named "members_only" was created and converted to a web. I understand that the next step is to set the permissions for the sub-web. That's where I'm stumped. Once that's done there needs to be a form created to input user names & passwords.

Any help is gratefully accepted.

Hello,
Does your web host offer the ability to password protect certain folders? (When the user tries to access the area, a use ID /PW screen is presented from the OS).That is what I use for several websites that I administer. Otherwise, there are scripts that can be used to password protect an area, but they are not very secure.

What happens if you get scared half to death twice?

Bob
