I am a new user to MS Project, and it is a bit daunting. I work for a very small business, and most of our projects include the same tasks, but have varying timlines. What I am trying to figure out, is how to create a template in Project that includes all the tasks with the number of qork hours required for each, but that can be stretched or squeezed to fit any length of time (from 5 days to 50 days). Ideally, once I have the template set up, I can simply enter a start and end date, and Project will automatically spread the tasks based on the dates I enter. Can anyone help me with this? Thanks!

Do a "Save As" and change the file type to Template, actually you can do this in most any Office App.
This will give you a .mpt file.
