Setting up a phone for program changes

I have a BCM50 Rel. 5.0 & am trying to set up a T7316 set for admin programming. I have read the manual and am still struggling with user ID/password lingo instructions. Is there an easy way to set up the phone with the config paswword & what is the user ID they keep mentioning. Also do you have to use the feature 9*8 ? Help much appreciated.

I would generally agree with you. And would not give out sensitive info.

However this password is generally available on Nortel.com and the manual.

So I didn't see any issue. didn't mean to offend
