Hello IT Experts, this is my situation: I have 3 different offices, in 3 different locations, office 1 has a win2k3 server, office 2 has a win2k3 server and office 3 has a win2k3 server. All servers are setup as file servers only. All 3 locations have Internet via a high speed broadband cable connection. The main goal is for all users from all 3 offices to communicate and see shares from all 3 servers.

Offices have about 6 computers each, they are running windows xp pro.

For example user 1 from any of the offices would have 3 "mapped network drives" in his system. they would be drives "x" , "y" and "w".....drive "x" would represent a share from server 1 at office 1, drive "y" wold represent a share from server 2 at office 2 and drive "w" would represent a share from server 3 at office 3. I want them to see 3 different shares from 3 different servers as "mapped network drives". All users from all 3 locations should have the same 3 "mapped network drives". What is the best way to do this? What kind of Routers should I get? VPN is the best way to do this?

You may want to setup 24/7 Windows site to site VPN. Also enable WINS server for browsing over VPN. These search results may help,
