Setting up a network printer with a PIN for users

Not sure how good the title was in describing my problem but......

I have a need to introduce a PIN based printing solution in the company i work for.
I have created the printer so the users will have to put in a PIN to print at the printer but am unsure how to make it an individual number for all users.
Or better yet make them enter a number each time they print.

Hopefully I have explained myself. Any help much appreciated

It may help if you let us know the model of printer being used but I would hazard a guess and say that this would normally be done via the vendors admin application.
