Setting up a lantronix SCS100?

I have a Lantronix SCS100 and I am trying to configure it so I can use rlogin to access my option 11c. I am new to setting up additional ports on a PBX. From what I have read it seems like I only need to add an additional port in LD 17? Does anything need to be configured on the scs100 besides configuring the ip address?

you also need to get the connect speed, interface mode etc correct. On the UDS10, I found I needed to set the inetrface to E71 to connect to the M1 tty set to N81. Also, if you are connecting to a tty port, you don't need RLOGIN.
