Setting Up a Journal in Micros (v2.6)

I'm trying to write some instructions to send to a user who is not all that familiar with computers or the Micros system. Would you guys please help out with these instructions and see if there is anything wrong or if something else should be added.

[li]Open POS Configurator[/li]

[li]Go to the Devices Tab[/li]
[li]Click on the Devices Button[/li]
[ol i]
[li]You should be on the “Record View” Tab with “1” highlighted[/li]
[li]Click the blue + sign in the upper right corner which is the insert command, this will enter a new row[/li]

[li]Enter 1005 for the “Number”[/li]
[li]Enter journal for the “Name”[/li]
[li]On the right you should be on the “General Tab”[/li]
[li]For “Device Type” select “Disk File”[/li]
[li]For “Network Node” select “9 MICROS1”[/li]
[li]Click on the “Printer Definition Tab”[/li]

[li]In the “Print To Disk Filename” enter:
D:\micros\res\pos\journals\journal.jnl[/li]
[li]Under “Line Feeds” enter 0[/li]
[li]Under “Columns” enter 80[/li]
[/ol][/ol]
[li]Close the Device Window and when asked to save changes click yes.[/li][/ol]
[li]Go to the “Sales” tab of POS Configurator[/li]
[ol i]
[li]Click on the “Print Classes” Button[/li]
[li]Step through each row of the Record View by highlighting the number under the “Number” column Header[/li]
[li]In the upper right corner of the window you should see a “Print On” section with choices to select what this class will print on. One of the choices will be to print to the Journal. Select or deselect the Journal choice for each printer class you select on the left side in the Record View Window.[/li]

[li]Note that “Print Class” is assigned for each “Menu Item” that has been created. You can check which items use what Print Class by clicking on the “Menu Items” button on the “Sales” tab of the POS Configurator[/li]
