I am trying to setup an analog phone set on the IATA on a CICS. I have assigned line 1 and line 2, pool A as prime, and have punched down the run to port 117 on the KSU but no luck.
I think I am not doing something in programming correctly. Any suggestion greatly appreciated.

I guess you want the analog phone to automatically grab an external line when it goes off-hook.

If it is the case, allworxguy is right: the I-ATA ignores the Prime Line setting and always gets system dial tone (as if you had chosen the I/C setting).

You need to program the I-ATA as an hotline. You can use a pause (Feature 78) as the external number, so it doesn't actually dial anything. You can also specify the line pool to use.
