Setting up a frame relay using serial interface

I have a client that is currently using several 56K lease lines for each remote office. The standard setup is to come in over a EIA 16 port RAN box. I would like to find out if I can utilize a full T1 line to branch out over all the remotes that they have and then connect back into the main office still utilizing the serial connection of a 16port EIA RAN box. Cost is a major issue that is why I am not looking at a network at this time.<br>
