Setting up a 4690 IP Polycom using an Avaya Definity Phone System?? 2

I have not had any luck setting up a 4690 IP Polycom using our Avaya Definity phone system and was hoping someone knew how to do this or had some pointers. Thus far, setting up the digital soundstation2 polycom model has worked great, but no dice on the IP polycom set up, if you know how to do this and can provide me some help I would greatly appreciate it.

Yes, we currently have IP phones set up and working, model type Avaya 4610SW.

Please provide a complete description of what is going wrong. The Polycom 4690 IP Phone sets up just like any other IP Phone.

Hi,

You need to set an alias for the 4690 IP Polycom to work. The supported set type for the 4690 IP Polycom is 4620.

I was able to get it working on my system.
