I have a client looking to implement 3 monitors on all the PC's in the organisation. Each PC should have a single desktop spread across all monitors, so the user can determine the layout. I know the quad graphics card will do this but the number of machines involved makes that a very expensive option, so I'm wondering if there's a more 'economical' way to do it.

Any help much appreciated

Have a look at the Matrox Parhelia graphics cards, such as this one, a single card that supports multiple monitors. They do others too, I just picked that one at random.
