Setting up 2 Public IP for IX workplace

Hi guys!

Just a quick question, in setting up for 2 public ip(redundancy)for IX workplace is it possible only just to add another ip in B1 interface? Or should I create another cert and enter those 2 Public IPs?

You will either need two certificates - one for each IP - or one certificate that contains both IPs

@derfloh - is it possible to generate 2 IP's in creating a different machine in port 7071?

Yes. In the alternative names field enter something like

IP:91.22.33.44, IP:91.22.33.55

You can add further entries for DNS and URI:sip

@derfloh - do you mean in the Machine IP, can i put those 2 IP's in the Machine IP? For the SANS its not working for IP only for DNS

In the SANs field. You can enter multiple IPs and multiple DNS entries.

Yup. Theres no problem if I put DNS but when I put dns and IP I am having an error. I can still try tho.

I also got an error but it went away as soon as I entered the IP from the upper IP address field into the SANs field.

So when generating a cert for abce. In the machine IP it should be the public ip. And I will also put in the SANs the machine and the other public ip? Is that right?
