Setting today's date as default for Calendar control 8.0 1

Hello,

I have a simple one that I just can't get. I need to make a calendar control 8.0 default to todays date.

I have tried to set the value in properties to Date() but it won't take it.

I have also tried the OnFormOpen and OnFormLoad events. In these events I tried to make the cal control = Date() and when that didn't work I tried =Now(). The thing is I got =Now() to work in OnFormLoad but it only worked once. Even when I shut down the database and opened it up again it went back to the date the control was created.

Any help would be appreciated

Hi Vimy,

You tried like this:
In design View form, you go to Calender Control 8.0 Properties and then go to Tab "Data", and go to Control Source and type like this =Date().
