Setting the default Mail Client in Outlook??

Can anyone tell me where and how I set the default mail client in Microsoft Outlook 2000.

I assume you mean the default mail profile? if so..open control panel and select MAIL...I'm not sure what type of mail client you're looking for (internet mail or exchange server etc)..if the mail field is empty then there are no profiles set up...click the 'add' button and it will let you select the type of profile you are after (this will be the default profile)..

And the next step: If multiple profiles are already in place,

Click "Show Profiles"
Select the default profile to be used at bottom of this window
