setting the date 1

The date which is displayed on the console is in some other language. so instead of May it shows Mei.
Can anyone guide as to how to change the date and display it as per the English calendar.

I am using Red Hat Linux 6.2 version

during installation of linux u must have choosen the language other than english thats why u r getting this .
try some settings to correct it
