setting the background when using loadMovieNum

I'm using the loadMovieNum function to load seperate swf files on top of each other, but am using a white background. I've tried setting the background on the bottom layer to white on each seperate movie, but for some reason the bottom level always shows through each new level.
How can i fix this?!

Movies are by default transparent. If you want to add a background to a loaded movie, you should draw a rectangle filled shape covering the whole of the stage area, on the lowest layer of your "to be loaded" movie.
