Setting the active worksheet in Excel via VBA (newbie question)

I am new at VBA, and I want to set a worksheet in my Excel workbook as the active worksheet. Can someone help with the command to do this?

Your help will be greatly appreciated.

Sheets("Sheet1").Select
is what I ususally use. You can also put a string variable in there.
