setting templates

I am confused about templates. I want a template for a form,so I can create many types of the same form. How do I create this template and how do I specify it in the Options-forms/reports. Thanks

Have a look at Autoformat, you will find it on the Format menu in design view, which allows you to create your own template and to update existing forms. You can also set a default form and a default report template under Tools->Options, which is used for forms you create yourself, that is, without a wizard. make sure you include samples of each type of control on your template form.
