Hey again,

I have a quad nic card (QFE0,1,2,3). I have gotten it to work as in my last thread, but I want to be able to use one of the ports for a cable modem. I can use "NDD /dev/qfe ?" to get the parameters for the whole card, but I don't seem to be able to assign them to individual ports.. (Ex: NDD -get /dev/qfe1 ? returns a 'couldn't push module 'qfe1', no such device or address').. qfe1 works, it is just running at 100fdx, like qfe0. I want qfe1 to be 10fdx, and the others to be 100fdx. I don't know if this is possible, or will I have to get another card...

Thanks in advance!

So far as I know, starting with Solaris 2.51 they should autonegotiate to whatever speed and duplex you plug into them. Prior to that they defaulted to half duplex. The one thing you can't give for your heart's desire is your heart. - Lois McMaster Bujold
