When accessing the internet I go through a Proxy server which requires me to enter my internet account username and password which are different to my domain username and password. Is it possible that these details can be entered automatically so that I do not have to enter them every single time I open up my browser? - Many Thanks

Open IE and select Tools and then Internet Options. Select the Content tab and then AutoComplete. Check to see if 'Prompt me to save passwords' is checked, if not check it and restart your browser. It should ask you if you want to save your password information next time a username/password form comes up.

Thanks for the reply. Auto complete is already on and forms do ask me to save passwords. The windows log on prompt for the proxy server doesn't.

I have found a rather good solution to my problem that I did not know about. Select user accounts in control panel, advanced, manage passwords then add the various proxy URL's along with credentials required. No more prompting for username and password.
