Hi,

I have a problem with citrix clients, they will not work correctly until i change the permissions on a particular key from users ->read to users->(same as powerusers).

I need to roll out 100 machines, can anyone recommend a way to push out theis registry change, and also apply it to new machines when they are joined. WE have an image to go on all machines, but i believe sysprep strips all local permissions back to the default??
The domain is windows 2003, and i will soon bbe attempting to install sms2003.
I dont want to really use a logon script as that will slow things down for users that already have the permission set correctly.

Ideally it would be nice to have something on the image that deletes itself once it sets the permission. However it will not always be an admin logging on to the machine first, the key is under Local_Machine not user.

Any help would be much appreciated

Regards

You can change the permission on registry keys from the Group Policy.

Computer Configuration\Windows Settings\Security Settings\Registry

Here you can add key's for which you want to change the security.
