Hi, I'm trying to setup project files for different shift patterns to analyse the differences in terms of cost, time saved etc. I've got the resource sheet and the working hours set but I want anything over 48 hours in a week period to be charged as overtime.
Is there anyway to achieve this beyond setting normal working hours and entering the overtime manually? This isn't really ideal since I want to be able to import existing task lists then see the effect.
Is there anyway to get project to charge overtime automatically.
For example if I've got 1 grinder working 60 hour weeks is there a way to get project to charge standard rate up to 48 hours then charge overtime rate for the remaining 12?

I want it to be a framework that pre-existing task lists can be fed into to show the differences between the shift patterns.

Any advice would really be appreciated guys
Thanks in advance

No, sorry. Overtime (even in Project 2010) has to be specifically assigned using the Task Form on an assignment by assignment basis. That is the only way to get the overtime rate field used.

I hope this helps.
