I want to set up my linux box so everyone that logs on will have access to the same paths. Is there a file that will alow all users to have access to the same paths or will I have to edit every users .bashrc file with the updated path. I know that some flavors of linux have a profile.local file but I have tried it in RH9 and it hasn't worked, is there a similar file in RH9?

Should be /etc/bashrc that you are looking for. On my RH9 install, the .bashrc file automatically looks for this file and calls it if found.

Any system-wide variables (such as your $PATH variable) should go in the /etc/profile file. The /etc/bashrc file is used for defining system-wide aliases and functions.
