hello

i am trying to setup groups of emails in outlook 97 ( exchange 5.5.). e.g. abc@go.com, buddy@yahoo.com, test@yahoo.co.uk as a group called 'Friends'.

how do you do this ? [sig][/sig]

I think the best way to do this would be to go to exchange admin click file and new distribution list. Add the new group called friends then create custom reciepients for each user and add them to this group. This will allow all users to send to this group.

Thanks for that Mark, I was kinda hoping for a client based solution as a few of the lecturers at work have been asking this, you see they don't have access to the Exchange server.

In Outlook 2000:
Create a group in the Address Book

On the Tools menu, click Address Book.

On the File menu, click New Group.

In the Group Name box, type the name of the group.

To select one or more names from the Address Book, click Select Members.

Click a name in the list, and then click Select. [sig][/sig]
