Setting default folder for documents to network drive

Is it possible to set the default location for documents to a folder on a network ie not on C:

If so, I'd really like to know how.

I should have said I'm trying to do this in Word 2003 - Stewart

I did some more investigating - the problem isn't the drive letter, it appears to be the fact that the folder name starts with an equals sign.

Well, as I understand it the administrator wanted to ensure that folders for each staff member on a certain drive came above any other folders in that drive when viewed in Windows Explorer......ho hum

You could use an underscore
