Setting Data Axis Min/Max Dynamically

Is there a way to use a parameter to set a charts data axis min or max? I have a bar chart that is on the group level, but if I set the data axis to auto range the charts are not on the same scale when I compare them to one another. The problem is the range is not always going to be the same for each database so I can not set it to a static value. The idea would be to use a parameter that would be passed to me telling me what the min and max are, but I do not see anyway of implementing that method. Any ideas?

Is there anyway to access the code behind the object being generated in CR. I have found a bunch of articles describing ChartObject class, but is that only available through VB?

Unfortunately, your only choices in the designer are to use a fixed number set in the chart properties or to let CR decide what the values should be using the "auto" function.

If you only have a few options you could create duplicate charts and layer them in one place - one chart for each specific value set - and then use your parameters to expose/suppress the charts as needed
