I want to set the check box back to gray after the checkbox is unchecked by the user. I have tried using the TripleState property but that has not worked. Does anyone have any suggestions? Any help would be appreciated.

Application?

What kind of checkbox?

Is this on a userform?

Gray?

My guess is that the last three are: Yes it is on a userform, so therefore it is a userform control, and you have set the BackColor property to something other than gray.

But who knows???? It could be an ActiveX checkbox in a Word document.

We can not answer such questions without some sort of detail. If there is a change by the user, would not using the _Change event do what you want?

Sorry. This is a checkbox on an Access 2003 form. Should have specified that. Duh.

I found the answer. Set the check box value property to null.
