Setting category when dynamically uploading a document

I'm sure that I'm just looking at this so long that I'm staring right at the answer but I just cant see it.

I just need to specify which category a document will belong to.

The VB.Net Code is as follows:

KnowDoc.Categories = Array(":Vehicles")

But I just cant get the damn thing to work with c#

I've tried this:

KnowDoc.Categories = new string[] {@":IT"};

but get an invalid index error.

just to close this off this is the code that I got working:

KnowDoc.Categories = new object[] {@":Category:SubCategory"};

I hope this helps someone else out there
