How would I go about setting the results of a calculated field to a numeric or field in the same record?

This is for an auto rally competition program where the distance for each waypoint is known and the time is input as it occurs with a button. At this point the distance/time (MPH) calculation is displayed immediately by macro when the next "Start Waypoint" button is pressed.

I need to set this value to a numeric field. I've done this before, but years ago and my biochemical computer memory banks fail me.

Thanks in advance.

You can SET a value to a field only if the value is visible in Browse mode. Otherwise, there is no "trick" to doing this. Just select the field, and in the formula area put the name of the calculated field.
