Hi Guys,

This is a shot in the dark and I would highly doubt it is possible for Crystal 8.5 - but I thought I'd ask anyway:

I want to set a new filepath for a bitmap image controlled by a simple string parameter.

If the user puts: C:\Images\companylogo.bmp in the parameter - then I want this logo to appear in the report.

This way the customer can add their own company logo to the header of the report.

Is it somehow possible - I know this feature is recognised in CR XI.

I don't know about passing the parameter, as I have never tried that. But I have used several logos in a form, bu setting supression formulas.

Insert the logos, and place them. Then create the parameter with a value for each logo (use Value and description, and display only description)

For example: Value 1 for logo1, value 2 for logo2

Thne set supression on each, if the parameter value does not match the logo number.

This will also eliminate having to assure each user has access to the drive where logos are stored.

HTH?
