I have a 7962 phone that I need to configure. I entered **# but it does not let me change any of the settings. It was used at a different location, there a way to reset to factory settings?

Thanks for the help

Tina

**# does nothing to my knowledge. **#** resets the phone. To unlock the settings, while you are in the settings press #**# and you dhould be able to get in and hardcode the DHCP settings.

Factory reset is as follows:
While powering up phone, press and hold the # key until the line buttons light up in sequence.
Then, key in 123456789*0#. Reset is now initiated.
Do not power it down again until the main screen appears.
