Hi there

I am looking in to implementing sharepoint for my company. there will be no more than 15 users in the foreseeable future (i.e. next 2 years).

I have several questions that i would appreciate getting feedback on:

I know i need to install windows server 2003 first. is the standard edition sufficient for this business size?

in regards to asp.net and sql server, what will windoes server 2003 and sharepoint provide vs. what i would have to install and config seperately. is SQL Server 2000 Desktop Engine (Windows) (WMSDE) provided with sharepoint?

what are my min system requirements. i saw a couple of other threads on this, but was wondering whether 1GB of ram and a 3.0GHz processor will be sufficient for moderate use. assume users could create and modify their own sites.

thanks for any help. ideally a summarized list of the steps needed to be taken to go from start to finish for implementing would be awesome, but i'm not expecting the world ;)

if you have a link for beginners like me i'd appreciate it.

cheers

leon
