Hi,

It seems that I should be able to do this in excel or access if need be, but I'm not sure how to go about it. Can some point me in the right direction.

We have 17 centers and 20 management staff. 1 staff member must visit a center once a week for the remaining of the school year.

Is there a way (formula) to type in the names of the staff once then autofill the for the remaining year so that they would be evenly rotated?

Sincerely,
Dolores

If I understand correctly, you can type the names in once, select the names as a single range and then drag the fill handle. Is that what you need?

Further Tip:
While you are at it.
Highlight the cells with the names in.
Tools, Options, CustomLists,Add.

Now in any workbook, if you enter any name from the list into a cell. Then drag the fill handle. The names will all be listed out.

Thanks,

Gavin

Yes..

After I sent the post and several attempts using the right word combinations I did find how to add new custom lists.

The employees won't be happy with the results 'cause we might never get any work done at the office, but the Director will be happy she didn't have to do it on paper!

Thank you again for responding, this is one of the most helpful forums that I have come across.

Sincerely,
Dolores
