Seting Up Netgear FVS124G... HELP....

I bought this FVS124G, and is there a more "simple" way to make my XP connect to it though VPN without the ProSafe software? I've seen the pdf file of about 24 pages telling us how to setup but there are lot of places i have question about.... Help...please... >.<

what's after seting up IPSec? do I still need to create a VPN connection? or it will automaticlly connect?
