Hello all,

I have an old RS/6000 with AIX and CDE installed. Its a 43P model 140.

The setiathome command line version works but when I try and loads xsetiathome to see the xwindows version I get the following error:

Could not load program ./xsetiathome
Member shr2.o not found or file not archive
Member shr2.o not found or file not archive
Could not load library libC.a[shr2.o]
Error was: No such file or directory

My lib file is under /usr/lib????

Thanks,

Rob

Hi ,
Is LIBPATH set correctly
is anything overwritng your PATH

Sorry my knowledge of AIX is pretty limited. I am a FreeBSD man.

Can you tell me how I can check or set the path? Sounds like that..

Cheers.

Rob
