I am a new user but have seen reports that ask you the parameters you want to look at.

Such as interval = to xyz and = xyz and you can enter the information you want to look at. I think there is an easy way to set this up but I don't know the key words to look it up or I just can't find it.

Does anyone have some basic examples, web sites, or instructions on getting this coded.

Thanks for your help

Select Insert->Field Object->Right click parameters and select new->name it

Select the data type that is consistent with the type of data being filtered on the database.

Example: Date

If you want a range of dates, select the Range check box, and Crystal will propmt for 2 dates.

Now select Report->Edit selection formula->Record

Enter in something like:

{table.date} = {?My DateParm}

Run the report.

If this doen't help, consider posting technical information when requesting it, such as:

Crystal version
Database used
Example data
Expected output

-k
