Set Up of CE - ePortfolio

*FYI, I have limited experience with CE...

I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations/insights to offer as I start to plan this project. CE is already installed and functional. It is currently used as a backend connected to a document management application that has limited flexibility when running crystal reports. The intent is to use ePortfolio directly to run the reports.

I am looking into setting up groups, users, security and permission. A BIG task in my eyes.
